The Rainbow Pride Halter Top is great for both beginner and advanced crocheters! It's the perfect top for lounging or dressing up! The color combinations are endless, and you can customize the stripes to get the look you want.
The top was inspired by the Pride Parade in NYC for the LGBTQ+ community. Inspired by the rainbow flag, I made this top to wear the next time my friends and I can go to the pride parade to show our support. Creating this top is a great way to represent who you are and what you stand for 🏳️🌈 But it’s perfect for any color scheme you want, and is very easily customizable!
The pattern includes written instructions for how to crochet this striped halter top, as well as pictures of the process. There are instructions for measurements, and on how to make a chainless foundations for beginners. It can be adjusted to make it a longer top as well. It is a made-to-measure pattern, so it is inclusive for all body types and sizes.
MATERIALS:
It uses a 4 worsted weight cotton yarn, and a 4 mm hook. I use about 100g for each color. However, you can adjust the hook size, yarn type, and length to your liking.
PROCESS:
These tops are super beginner friendly! You will need to know how to make a slip knot, chain, single crochet, and half double crochet. You will make a band and then crochet the top in a tube, creating a front panel, adding trim and finally straps.
